When we choose a name for a collection we try to make sure there is a relationship between the design and the name. The New York cutlery is no exception, it is cosmopolitan and unique like the city that never sleeps, but is simultaneously authentic and classic. It does not lose usability in its modern lines and seeks a balance between modesty and boldness. We find that balance in the knives, forks and spoons of this range. We recommend washing our cutlery by hand. We do not recommend machine washing, however, if you do, we advise you to rinse them before putting them in the machine. Do not use abrasive detergents, do not load too many pieces of cutlery in the basket, in order to avoid them colliding with each other during washing. Ensure that all knives are placed in the basket with the blades facing upwards and separated from other cutlery items. Spoons and forks should be placed in the basket with the handles facing downwards. As soon as the washing cycle is complete, it is recommended that all the cutlery should be removed immediately and cleaned with a soft cloth, especially knives. Dry the cutlery with a soft cloth immediately after washing. Do not immerse the items in water and/or detergents for long periods of time, and avoid keeping them wet.
