Jomafe, in line with good international practices of control and information security, and in line with the new paradigm in the processing of personal data that results from the RGPD, has implemented effective practices that aim to ensure and prove that the processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with the GDPR and in strict compliance with the confidentiality and integrity duties of personal data. 

Our Privacy Policy determines how JOMAFE treats the personal data of its customers and/or potential customers. 

Who are we and what are our responsibilities? 

JOMAFE and the domain jomafe.pt are managed by José Maria Ferreira S.A., a company registered in Portugal. Our head office is at Rua Comendador Alberto Magalhães e Sousa nº 60, 4805-668 Vila Nova de Sande, Guimarães, Portugal. Our taxpayer number is 504355473. Major CAE: 46900 | Secondary CAE: 46211. 

JOMAFE is responsible for processing the personal data of jomafe.pt customers and/or potential customers

What are the purposes and grounds for data processing? 

At Jomafe we ​​only record the data of individuals of legal age and this data is obtained directly from these holders. 

The data that our customers and potential customers voluntarily transmit to us are treated confidentially and are stored on servers protected by our suppliers/service providers, and their access and use are limited to authorized persons and under strict security and control policies. 

The data is collected in the course of and according to the contacts you have with Jomafe. 

For the purpose of registering as a User on our website, processing orders or requests for information, suggestions or complaints to the customer support service, we will necessarily have to obtain personal data, since without them we will not be able to proceed with the request and/or proceed according to the user/consumer's own expectations. 

We ask for your consent to collect data for the purpose of developing direct marketing actions, sending information about Jomafe, our articles, campaigns and sending information about the launch of news, initiatives or advantages, by sending letters of e-mail. 

We also ask for your consent so that, through the processing of your data, we can define and segment your consumption profile, sending you information about campaigns, articles and personalized offers that are more suited to your choices and user/consumer profile.

Additionally, the data will be used for the purpose of complying with legal obligations and/or for the pursuit of Jomafe's legitimate interests, always respecting the balance between Jomafe's legitimate commercial interests and the rights of its customers and/or potential customers. 

Jomafe will not assign or share your data with third parties, except in cases where this proves necessary to fulfil our obligations, whether those arising from the Law or those we assume before you (example processing of delivery orders). 

Personal data may also be transferred to third parties that provide us with support services, such as financial organizations, providers of technological services or the sending of marketing communications, however, Jomafe maintains control of the data in relation to any subcontractor.  

The data, in accordance with the provisions of the RGPD, will only be processed and stored - depending on the existing treatment basis - for the period of time strictly necessary for the respective processing purposes, as provided for in the legislation, as long as there is a legitimate interest in this, your holder consents to this and/or the right of opposition is not exercised by the holder, unless this proves to be contrary to the fulfilment of a legal obligation or impedes the exercise or defence of rights in legal proceedings. 

Without prejudice to cases where there is a need to keep the data for a longer period, under the terms mentioned above, the data will be deleted after a maximum of 24 (twenty-four) months after the last contact between Jomafe and the data subject. . 

What data do we collect? 

The data collected directly from the data subjects are: 

Contact details: name, address, mobile phone number and e-mail address, taxpayer number; 

Other personal data: date of birth, education, family or professional status.

What are the rights of the data subject? 

Jomafe guarantees, in any case, to the user/consumer the exercise of their rights of access, rectification, elimination, opposition, limitation of treatment or portability, as well as the revocation of the consents granted, for which they must send a written request, by letter sent to or through the form on our Contacts page. 

The User/consumer must indicate in his/her request his/her full name and the right he/she intends to exercise, accompanying it with a copy of an identification document that proves his/her identity. 

The exercise of these rights is subject to certain exceptions aimed at safeguarding the public interest (prevention or detection of crimes) or our interest (maintenance of professional secrecy). 

If you exercise any of these rights, we will review them and respond within a maximum of 1 (one) month. 

If you are dissatisfied with the use of your personal data collected on our website or with our response after exercising any of these rights, or if you consider that a breach of data protection legislation has been committed with regard to the processing of your data personal data, you have the right to file a complaint/complaint with the responsible supervisory authority, the National Data Protection Commission at www.cnpd.pt. 

How do we handle the data of minors? 

The jomafe.pt website, applications and Jomafe articles are not normally aimed at minors. 

Despite this, on some occasions we can carry out a campaign for minors, in which they can show their interest.
